As good as a metal shift knob can be. Has a slight pinkish finish to it, you can even notice it in the pictures, hopefully it will wear out. You can feel the numbers machined into the piece, but it's nothing too intrusive, that will go away too. Great product for this price.

Is so small compared to the original gear knob I had but the finishing and the fact is weightless makes it good if u are a fast gear shifter
