A mother duck and her ducklings had wandered into the streets of Copenhagen, and a police officer stopped a car to allow them to cross the road.
This incident was widely reported in newspapers at the time.
Hans Bolling is said to have been inspired by this heartwarming episode to design the mother duck and duckling.
Duck is designed based on the mother duck, and its charming expression is incredibly cute.
The head is movable, and the various expressions that change depending on the angle will surely bring you joy.
The warmth of the wood, characteristic of wooden toys, makes these mother duck and ducklings endearing, and they are still loved around the world today.
They are great to display on their own, but we also recommend displaying them together with the baby duck (Duckling) to recreate the scene from that time!
