How to Protect Yourself: Use a broad-spectrum sunscreen with an SPF of 15 or higher regularly. Other sun protection tips include: Avoid outdoor activities during the day, especially between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Wear long-sleeved shirts and long pants, a hat, and sunglasses.
