STRONG AND DURABLE - When pedaling to the metal, you need strong and durable pedals. You don't want to put that energy into a pedal that's flimsy, unstable, and unstable. Our oversized flat MTB pedals are built for any riding style and are extremely durable. Constructed using 6061 aluminum and a chrome steel spindle, the pedals withstand bumps on the trail and roll very smoothly. Each pedal weighs 173g/6.1oz, the pair weighs 346g/12.2oz.
Wide Platform - In addition to traction pins on each pedal, Corki Cycles pedals feature a 4-inch wide platform. Whether you have wide feet or are looking for a larger platform pedal surface area. The Corki pedal's wide platform allows for excellent low pedal drive and great control in 90 degree turns.
Installation - To install the Corki Cycles MTB pedals, you will need an allen wrench with a little grease. The pedals are a universal size of 9/16 inches. Remove the old pedals and check the crank arm threads before applying a small amount of grease. Align the left and right pedals with the correct crank arms.
SAFETY - Screw on the pedal using a hex wrench until approximately 90% tight. For finishing, use a bicycle torque wrench and tighten to the final limit of 5Nm. If you do not have a motorcycle torque wrench, use a hex wrench to tighten. Do not overtighten. If in doubt, please contact your local bicycle shop to confirm correct installation and tightening. Please note that over-tightening will affect the threads on the crank arm.
