Dark oud, resin and woods give these oud incense sticks a slow, intimate character, made for an evening ritual, a quiet room, or a moment you want to mark with scent. The amethyst pendulum adds a contemplative touch, bringing the piece closer to a small personal ritual than an everyday incense pack.
The Midnight Oud atmosphere
Oud and agarwood sit at the centre, giving the fragrance a deep, shadowed woodiness.
Frankincense, myrrh and styrax benzoin bring a resinous warmth that lingers softly in the room.
Cedarwood and guaiacwood keep the scent grounded, with a dry, woody steadiness beneath the richer notes.
The black tube and illustrated ritual-style artwork echo the darker mood of the fragrance.
The amethyst pendulum can be kept nearby while lighting the incense, used as a symbolic focus for intention or divination practice.
Bamboo sticks with resin and wood oils
The coated sticks shown in the photo have a dark, textured finish, with plain bamboo ends for placing into a suitable holder.
Lighting the evening ritual
Place the plain end of one stick into a heat-resistant incense holder or ash catcher. Light the coated tip, let it flame briefly, then blow it out so the tip glows and releases smoke.
Burn in a ventilated room, away from curtains, pets and children, and never leave incense unattended. Let the ash fall safely, and allow everything to cool before clearing away.
Oud, amethyst and intention
Oud comes from agarwood and is widely valued in perfume and incense traditions for its rich, dark wood character. Frankincense and myrrh have long histories as ritual resins, often used to give smoke a ceremonial depth. Amethyst, in crystal practice, is traditionally associated with clarity, stillness and the crown chakra; as a pendulum, it is often used as a small focus object in divination or intention-setting. Here, those elements come together as atmosphere and symbolism.
