Nagasaki Electric Tramway operates a tram service covering a distance of approximately 11.5 km within Nagasaki City.
As one of Japan's leading tourist destinations, Nagasaki is visited by many tourists from both Japan and abroad, including students on school trips and cruise ships calling at Nagasaki Port.
Among Japanese cities with trams, Nagasaki is also notable for its wide variety of trams, from new low-floor cars to historic vehicles.
Seven 1500 series carriages have been introduced since 1993.
They have a similar exterior design to the earlier 1200 and 1300 series, but are equipped with single-arm pantographs.
Car No. 1507 is classified as a 1500A series due to an indirect control system update.
This product recreates the distinctive exterior features of Car No. 1507, including the roof-mounted resistor and side windows with destination display signs, using new parts.
By using a separately sold power unit, it can be operated as an N-gauge model train.
We recommend the TM-TR01 power unit (for trams) and the PT7113D [0246] pantograph.
