The Skyline GT has a history spanning over 60 years. Its original S54 model was created by extending the front of an existing Prince Skyline 1500 and installing a 2000cc 6-cylinder engine from a Gloria.
It is said that 100 S54 Skyline GTs (commonly known as Type I) were originally produced for the second Japan Grand Prix in 1964, but their performance in the race garnered such a positive response that full-scale production and sales began in 1965 as the Skyline 2000GT (commonly known as Type II).
In 1966, Prince Motors was merged with Nissan Motors, and the car was produced and sold as the Nissan Prince Skyline 2000GT (commonly known as Type III) until 1968.
TLV released the Type III 2000GT-B in April 2025, and the Second Japan Grand Prix specification in May, but this time we've recreated the Type II.
Not only does it feature a front grille with a vertical stripe motif and small rear fenders, but the hood can also be opened and closed to reveal the triple-carbureted six-cylinder engine that was originally fitted to the Type II.
Red lights, speakers, and auxiliary lamps (user-installed) on the front bumper have been added to give it patrol car specifications.
