Product Introduction
Product Introduction The F4U was a carrier-based fighter developed by Chance Vought. It served the U.S. Navy and Marine Corps from World War II through the Korean War. It featured a powerful engine, large propeller, and inverted gullwing design, not found in previous carrier-based fighters. The F4U-1A was an improved version that replaced the earlier model's frame-heavy canopy with a semi-teardrop design and a higher seating position for improved visibility. This kit is precisely and accurately modeled. It measures 21.5 cm in length and 26 cm in width when finished. It contains over 210 parts. This product is a plastic model that requires assembly and painting. Additional adhesives, tools, and paints are required for assembly and painting.
