This is a quintuplet top, with five baby tops popping out from a mother top, and the design was supervised by Spin Gear.
This is one of the Edo tops, a type of mechanical top that has been loved for many years as a traditional toy.
Gently place it on the floor and spin it. The quintuplets will jump out one by one, and at the end, try flipping the mother top (outside) over and spinning it.
This is a handmade wooden toy with a warm feel. Please note that there may be individual differences and that it may break if dropped too hard.
It takes practice to spin all six of them, including the mother. Also, it will not spin well unless you have a large, flat surface. Please be careful not to spin it on a table or other surface as it may fall.
Wrap the string around the spinning top, press it lightly against the floor, pull the string hard, and spin it. Then slowly lift it up and the baby top will pop out. Finally, turn the main top upside down and spin it to complete the spinning.
