To uncover the truth behind the strange phenomena occurring in various locations, he has been traveling with his Otomon guardian, Rathalos.

◎ Keina: Afmaru A Rider from Mahana Village. Her Otomon is a Dos Lanpos named "Afmaru." She has a cheerful and free-spirited personality. Her catchphrase is "I'm so excited!" She teaches the protagonist the basics of being a Rider and encourages him on his adventures.

◎ Alma: Shihaku A Rider from Rutu Village. His Otomon is a Legiana named "Shihaku." A handsome and taciturn young man. Although his demeanor and speech may seem cold, he cares about the protagonist, who is the grandson of his first human friend, Red.

・Alkar Continent A continent with vast plateaus and towering rocks. Many forests remain unchanged from ancient times.

■Weapon Types One of the newly added weapon types is revealed: ・Bow A weapon type with the attack type "Thrust," specializing in status ailment attacks. Using the "Charge" skill increases the success rate of status ailments in the next attack turn. Furthermore, an additional attack using "Power Shot" is automatically activated. The skills that can be used by charging vary depending on the type of bow.
