Power: The Warden is a 9V, DC power supply that can be used with a 2.1mm negative center adapter. Please note that using a daisy chain or non-transformer power adapter may generate noise.
We use the highest quality parts and internally boost the voltage to 18V to ensure clear headroom and sustain. By using the wide dynamic range and 6 controls, you can apply thinly so that the effect is not too noticeable, or use deep compression for bold cutting. Since it uses an optical system, the tone will be a little more colored than those using VCA or FET systems, but that is why it is most effective when creating unique tones such as the combination of a 12-string guitar and a vintage compressor that can be heard on records from the 60's and 70's.
