An Indian Hindu deity. Ganesha was born from a doll made from the dirt of the goddess Parvati.
Ganesha incurred the wrath of Parvati's husband, Shiva, the supreme Indian deity, and had his head chopped off. He was given an elephant's head instead.
Ganesha is the god of happiness, believing in him as the god of prosperity in business, learning, money, and the removal of obstacles. In Japan, he is famous for making dreams come true.
