These magical celestial bodies, said to be inhabited by gods, bestow magical gifts upon its inhabitants. Thanks to them, wizards weave magic, druids help farmers tend their crops, and children can play in the airy streams. But now there is no time for that, for Kurodar, the Black Moon, has approached Avel, and his sinister magic has awakened the forces of evil. Dangerous creatures have always lurked in the forests, caves, and other dark places, but now they have emerged in droves, their hateful gaze fixed on the castle. It's up to you to save the land from their destructive tendencies!The Chronicles of Avel Castle is a cooperative board game for the whole family, in which we take on the roles of heroes and heroines responsible for saving a magical land. During the game, we create our own characters with unique names and special equipment, and then explore the world, moving around a modular board. During our journey, we will encounter many dangers to fight, and each victory will bring us a specific reward: new weapons, armor, potions, and gold. The goods we collect will allow us to prepare for the final battle with the Monstrum that threatens the kingdom of Avel.What is it about?Each game of Avel begins with the creation of our own character. You can color and decorate the universal hero illustration as you wish. Don't forget to create a unique coat of arms for them and choose the most heroic of heroic names! Once all players are ready, you can begin playing.The goal of the game is to explore the land, fight monsters, and develop your character to best prepare for the final battle with the Monstrum, which will appear after a specified number of rounds. Avel is a cooperative game, meaning all players work together as a team, and the success of one player is a success for the entire group.The game itself consists of rounds, during which players take turns. As part of your actions, you can move around the board, use special actions of the locations you visit, rest, or fight monsters by rolling dice and using your equipment. This way, you gain new items that will be helpful in subsequent battles. Each action you take affects the situation of the entire team and will influence the strategy you choose.After a specified number of rounds have passed, the Monstrum appears.
