“Eco-Drive” refers to a watch mechanism that operates by converting light into electrical energy. It is equipped with a solar cell that generates electricity when exposed to light, powering the watch. Excess electrical energy is stored in a secondary battery. It eliminates the need for regular battery replacements, does not contain harmful metals in the secondary battery used, and does not use harmful substances during the manufacturing process. As the name suggests, it has received high praise from an ecological perspective and was the first watch to be certified as an “Eco Mark Product.” Recommended as a present or gift.
