The correct injection angle is extremely important for the proper operation of a diesel engine. It is the crankshaft rotation angle between the start of injection and the maximum piston lift. It affects engine performance, fuel consumption, and exhaust emissions.
If the injection angle is too early, the car may vibrate and rattle more, and if it is too late, cold starting problems and smoke may occur.

INDIVIDUAL STEPS MAY VARY FOR DIFFERENT TYPES OF CARS. ALWAYS REFER TO THE MANUFACTURER'S RECOMMENDATIONS
• Unscrew the injection pump head bolt and Install the appropriate sensor mount in its place.
• If necessary, install the appropriate extension in place of the measuring tip with the ball.
• Set the sensor to a value of approximately 1.5 mm.
• Rotate the crankshaft counterclockwise until the needle stops moving.
• Reset the sensor reading.
• Rotate the crankshaft slowly clockwise until the TDC marks align.
• Read the sensor readings and compare them with the factory data.
• If necessary, correct the pump setting and repeat the measurement.
