It uses a fixed pipe type nib commonly found in drafting pencils. The nib is highly visible, maintaining brightness on the paper, making it suitable for writing small characters, creating diagrams, and using rulers for study.
It features a "Freenock" mechanism that allows lead extension by shaking it up and down. Lead can be extended without changing grip. The Freenock mechanism can be stopped by sliding the clip towards the eraser. Additionally, lead can be extended by sliding the clip to knock.
