Explanation by manufacturer
REVO ALX THETA (REVOEL X-THETA)
A high performance reel that is both tough and light. Theta is born.
The Dura metal one-piece body and high-efficiency gearing and friction-free construction achieve quieter and lighter rotation performance.

FEATURES
Salt Shield TM Bearings
By adopting a developed ball bearing with a water repellent coat applied to the entire interior and exterior, the salt-like phenomenon that causes rotational noise is drastically reduced.
We succeeded in greatly improving rotation feel and durability. (used in the pinion gear section)
HPCR bearing
With bearings using high-performance corrosion-resistant materials,
Improves durability, smoothness, and corrosion resistance.
It enhances performance in all fishing situations.
Friction-Free
The structure makes the handle less wind-up by improving the support structure of the main shaft.
Even big players can actively roll up “One More Volume.”
In the conventional structure, the main shaft moves back and forth while rubbing the inner surface of the pinion gear to turn the rotor,
This “rubbing” friction made the hoisting heavy.
The support structure of the main shaft that moves the spool back and forth has been greatly improved, and the main shaft is supported on the reel body with a high sliding bush.
There is a gap between the rotating pinion gear and the main shaft that moves back and forth, and contact friction with the inside of the gear part is eliminated (friction-free), thereby making hoisting light.
AM gearing design
High-strength aluminum gears that are precision machined using a unique manufacturing method
Achieve unprecedented smoothness and durability.
COG GEAR DESIGN
With Abu Garcia's unique computer analysis technology,
Achieves an appropriate tooth shape for the gear.
Achieve ultimate smoothness in any fishing situation.
DURAMETAL integrated body
The body structure uses DURAMETAL (high strength aluminum cast alloy) as an integral part, including the stem part, assuming tough fishing.
We succeeded in integrating the body cover (side plate) used in conventional reels into the body.
Since the DURAMETAL integrated body is used to support the drive gear with some components,
Contributes to improving proper gear gear feeling without the axis shifting.
Rocket Line Management SystemTM
1. Spool Design - Abu Garcia's unique rocket spool lip releases the line more smoothly and evenly from the spool.
2. Oscillation System - The slow oscillation system allows the line to be wound more smoothly and uniformly into the spool with an appropriate winding angle.
3. Bale - Due to the Revo Series' unique bale opening angle, when the line is released from the spool lip, it is controlled by an appropriate line loop, and the line can smoothly pass through the rod's first stripping guide.
aluminum uniflow bale
Weight reduction is achieved by adopting high-strength aluminum alloy. By smoothing the shape of the bale joint, problems such as thread entanglement around the bale can be drastically reduced.
Duracarbon handle
By laminating high-elasticity carbon materials, it contributes to high strength, weight reduction, and improved sensitivity.
carbon matrix drag
By adopting Abu Garcia's unique carbon matrix drag washer,
While maintaining smooth performance over a wide range,
It is possible to apply higher drag power than .
2WAY DRAG
By changing the order in which the drag washers are assembled according to the fishing type and fishing method,
Two settings, “Light” and “Tough”, are now possible.
ALWAYS-ON INSTANT ANTI-REVERSE
Removed the instant anti-reverse ON/OFF switching function to prevent misoperation.
Reversal prevention performance in winter fishing has been improved by adopting a clutch.
