Product Description: Targeted Bone and Artery Health SupportSupplementVegan and Non-GMOPromotes Healthy Bone MineralizationSupports Healthy Blood Vessel ElasticityHelps Maintain Healthy Lipid LevelsPremium Vegan FormulaVitamin K2-7 (Menaquinone) Supports Bone and Cardiovascular Support Promotes health. Vitamin K2-7 acts as a cofactor in the carboxylation of osteocalcin, allowing calcium to bind to this protein in the extracellular matrix of bone, supporting healthy bone mineralization. Vitamins K2-7 also support healthy heart and blood vessel function. This form of vitamin K concentrates in arterial tissue and helps with the carboxylation of matrix glycoproteins, maintaining normal calcium metabolism and supporting healthy blood vessel elasticity. Vitamin K2 may also support healthy lipid levels and glucose metabolism. Although vitamin K deficiency is very rare in practice, studies have shown that the Western diet may not contain enough vitamin K2-7 to optimize carboxylation of glycolysis outside the liver. Increased dietary intake is associated with healthy levels of arterial calcification and elasticity. Compared to other forms of vitamin K, vitamin K2-7 has a longer half-life, making levels more stable in the body. Take with mixed meals or healthy dietary fat for best absorption.
