A new model has been released for the Sambar Dias Classic. The N249e features a two-tone green/cream finish, which was added in 1996, while the N249f is a special edition 40th Anniversary model commemorating the 40th anniversary of Subaru's launch in 1998. Despite its compact size, just 6cm in length, the passenger-side sliding door opens and closes, providing ample playability.

The side mirrors are user-installed parts.
